Summer Cheese Tasting

Meadows has become well known for cheese and we are really proud of our selection which is a collection of personal favourites all handmade by small producers across the UK and Europe.

Join Suzannah, owner of Meadows and our lead cheesemonger, for a tasting of summer cheeses.  We will discuss seasonality in cheese which can be explained from many angles including biology, geography and social history.  On this occasion we will taste through the cheeses that are at their best in summer and explore the reasons why.

The tasting will include a tutored tasting of a typical selection of 4 cheeses served with bread and crackers.  A welcome drink is included.

This is a seated tasting event with a communal table.  Due to the nature of this tasting, we cannot cater for specific dietary requirements but we can provide gluten-free crackers.  Note that we will taste cheeses made with unpasteurised milk and/or traditional animal rennet.
