The estate is based in Ammerschwihr, only a few kilometres north of Colmar and was started is the early 1950s by Bernadette Meyer and Jérôme Geschickt. Today, Frédéric Geschickt runs the operations alongside his nephew Arnaud and his better half Aurelie.


Having taken over in 1993, Frederic spent the following five years converting their 12ha to organic and biodynamic farming, receiving both Demeter and EcoCert certifications by 1998. Domaine Geschickt produces classic wines, some from respectable Grand Crus such as Kaefferkopf and Wineck-Schlossberg, as well as, more recently, started exploring the world of "orange" wines and sulphur-free vinification.


Their forward-thinking and meticulous approach in the vineyards and cellar translates into wines that show impressive mineral depth and length.
