The Passata Classica is made with ripe plum tomatoes while the Vellutata Dolce is a cherry tomato passata has been produced in the region of Abruzzo, an incredible region of Italy with diverse landscapes ranging towering mountains to lush green valleys and blue seas.


On a small family farm in the town of Loreto Aprutino, a variety of cherry tomatoes are grown in glorious sunshine. The ripe tomatoes are handpicked and sieved to create a passata that preserves the freshness and taste of the tomatoes. This passata contains no additives or preservatives and is perfect as a base for a pasta sauce, homemade soup or for topping a pizza.
