Liz Young, founder of The Modern Table, is a locally based chef, originally from New Zealand. Her love of feeding people began by watching her grandparents baking, pickling & preserving. She spent 4 years working in fine dining kitchens in Sydney before taking to the seas to chef on private super yachts. Landing in Cambridge in 2012 and recently setting up The Modern Table, Liz is well established at the heart of our local food community.
Earlier this year we were really pleased to host Liz for a pop-up Sunday Brunch at Meadows. We had similar events in mind throughout the year but we know how all such plans have had to change. We are delighted to welcome Liz back to Meadows with her weekly changing menu of freshly prepared dishes to enjoy at home.
