as well as some special treats direct from France & Italy.
In out kitchen we make homemade cakes, cookies and freshly prepared lunch options throughout the day including homemade salads and savouries.

ABOUT MEADOWS
Meadows is a neighbourhood delicatessen in Cambridge. We specialise in food that is delicious and good for our health which also supports regenerative farming and small, independent local businesses.
Visit us to stock up on produce you may need for lunch or dinner as well as snacks, treats and gifts. Local and organic fruit & vegetables freshly harvested and grown in season, traditional farmhouse cheese, artisan sourdough bread from a local baker, extra virgin olive oil, organic nuts, loose-leaf tea, bean-to-bar chocolate and home-made cakes and salads from our kitchen, prepared daily and to order using quality ingredients.
We have homemade cakes & cookies to take-away and prepare soup and salads daily using fresh the shop as our larder to provide quality ingredients.
Our pasta sauces are made seasonally by a family business in Abruzzo using ingredients grown on their farm.
OUR PRODUCTS & SUPPLIERS
When you walk in the door or Meadows, the smells of real food await. You can tell when something is about to come out of the oven or when fresh peaches & melons have been delivered. Often the cheeses compete with garlic and onions much to the horror of many of our youngest customers.
The shop is our larder and the majority of our extra ingredients are either certified organic or we know them to be organic in practice. We select everything we sell ourselves and are proud to call many of our suppliers our friends. Whether they are only just discovered or stem from further back to the good old days of market trading in Borough Market, the partnerships we build with our suppliers are an integral part of our business.
We hope that we can communicate how wonderful they are and that you will get to know them too. The food they bring us is all delicious so please try something new next time you visit.
